Be on the lookout for signs of serious liver-related adverse reactions for all Hydroxycut products. There have been more than twenty reports of serious liver-related health problems. The series of problems include jaundice, elevated liver enzymes, liver injury, even serious liver damage requiring liver transplant. At least one Hydroxycut-related death is due to liver failure.

Other Hydroxycut health problems were reported such as seizures, cardiovascular disorders, and rhabdomyolysis.

Rhabdomyolysisa type of muscle damage that can lead to other serious health problems such as kidney failure. The condition involves the breakdown of muscle fibers resulting in the release of muscle fiber contents (myoglobin) into the bloodstream. When muscle is damaged, a protein pigment called myoglobin is released into the bloodstream and filtered out of the body by the kidneys. Myoglobin breaks down into harmful compounds, blocks the kidney structures, and causes acute tubular necrosis or kidney failure.

Hydroxycut has caused liver injury. Sympoms of liver injury include jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes) and brown urine,nausea, vomiting, light-colored stools, excessive fatigue, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, itching, and loss of appetite.
