California Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) Lawyers

In November 2000, the Food and Drug Administration took Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) off the market. PPA is an ingredient in many over-the-counter cold, flu, and diet drug medications. Examples of drugs that had PPA as an ingredient are as follows: Robitussin CF Cough Syrup, Dimetapp Cold Medicine, Triaminic DM Cough Syrup, Permathene Weight Control Tablets, Dexatrim Weight Products, Acutrim Weight Control Products, and Tavist D Cold, Allergy and Sinus Tablets. In a study done by the Yale University School of Medicine, PPA has been linked to an increased risk of hemorrhagic stroke. If you, or anyone you know, have suffered problems while using any products containing PPA, you should contact one of our PPA injury attorneys immediately to investigate your right to file suit against the manufacturer of this ingredient.
